GMS Consulting is a full-service business consultancy that offers a range of solutions to new and established companies in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS).
Based in Bangkok, Thailand, GMS Consulting was founded in 2010 by Mr Wat Brenneis, a long-time resident of Thailand with more than 40 years experience in the countries of the Greater Mekong Subregion.
GMS services: education, background & experience
Wat Brenneis was born in Switzerland in 1943 and graduated from the Commercial School in St. Gallen in 1963. In 1964, he attended the Swiss Mercantile School in London, and in 1965 studied at the Alliance Francaise in Paris. In 1986, he attended a six-month Advanced Management Programme at Harvard University.
Mr Brenneis joined DKSH, Thailand, in 1966, and in 1991 was appointed Deputy CEO while also handling the role of General Manager, Technology, for countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion
In April 2003 he was made President of DKSH Thailand, a position he held until his retirement at the end of 2006.
Mr Brenneis holds dual nationality, Swiss and Thai, and speaks German, English, French and Thai.
